Regarde Le Ciel was founded by Filip Rasschaert with the aim to deliver timeless and quality women leather shoes with carefully considered details and construction techniques, all while considering the brands footprint and sustainability. We are proud to be BSCI certified - a Business Social Compliance Initiative that promotes workplace conditions in accordance with human rights, ILO conventions and national labor laws.

The Business Social Compliance Initiative (BSCI) is a leading supply chain management system that supports companies to drive social compliance and improvements within the factories and farms in their global supply chains. BSCI implements the principle international labour standards protecting workers’ rights such as International Labor Organization (ILO) conventions and declarations, the United Nations (UN) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights and guidelines for multinational enterprises of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Reduce CO2 Emission.
Our logistics department with each season aim to understand our impact and how we are able to reduce it by making small changes in the transportation of products and daily logistical activities of the company.
Partnering with Local Companies.
Regarde Le Ciel partners with local companies for different production areas, such as stand set-ups and marketing printing, to lower the CO2 emission and pollution emission, and to support local trade. Local partners are located in Italy, Spain, Netherlands and Portugal.
Our product are packaged is fully recyclable materials. Similarly, delivery of products to our retailers and stores is also in fully recyclable packaging. Regarde Le Ciel aims to remove all plastic packaging from its online store deliveries by the end of 2019.

Our products are made to deliver long-lasting designs with carefully considered details and construction techniques. Using naturally tanned quality leathers, flexible soles, accentuated and strong stitching details and quality fit-ability features are key within any of our designs. The design elements make any of our products unique. Our leathers are by-products of the food industry.
Reduce waste, Re-usage and Recycling of materials.
Sample collections are recycled and repurposed - materials are repurposed by external partnering companies. Production remainders are recycled and repurposed. Water usage in production is minimized.
Eliminate toxins through production and in our products.
Our products are tested for quality and safety standards. They are also tested for health and safety risks such as allergy materials.

With a rapidly changing environment we are investing largely in finding innovative material alternatives and in new processing techniques to achieve our goals.
